What company makes the best rifle scope that is adjustable and wide?
I want to purchase an area to put on a rifle. I would like Long-practice shooting. 500 yrds. I like the wide angle. I like the adjustable focus and zoom /. I had a Simmons before many years, and I've heard that Leupold's are good. What is with Zeiss? what is the best part? Its scope is bound a $ 1000.00 budget. Any suggestions or personal favorites, comments and advice is welcome!
You have already answered some of your question. If you are looking for a great value (compared to what you get, although they do not necessarily cheap in price) do yourself a favor and check out Bushnell Elite Series 4200 and 6500, the 6500 probably address your specific needs best from these two Options (complete with a great warranty, one years refund if not completely as a limited lifetime warranty thereafter, as well as their satisfaction awesome Rainguard water-repellent lens coating). The Zeiss Conquest is also excellent and of course a good Leupold will serve you well (VX-III or later), but you will generally pay more for these brands for the same or less functionality than you need for less money in the Bushnell Elite series. However, with your budget, you should have no problems getting what you want regardless of what you choose these brands.
