How can I transfer the video or "freeze frame" of the Canon-210 camcorder to the PC?
I have recently purchased Canon 210 camcorder. It has some nice features, but what the manufacturer has not told me that I would be able to download the video or the "freeze frame" on my PC for further editing. Help. All responses are welcome.
All video cameras can be used on most computers, I'm not sure if it is a miniDVD camera but I think if I'm wrong, I'll lie together 2 answers. If you have a mini-DVD camcorders …. They you need your DVD in the camera before finalizing the DVD into your computer's DVD burner (top loading only) and then have to convert the files to be (I downloaded handbrake file converter free) and you import them into your image editing program. Use the Help function in your image editing program to learn to edit. When you are ready to burn, you will be your project on a different DVD and you will be able to burn the original file is removed. If you have a mini-dv (cassette) camcorder … have. Your DV camcorder needs a FireWire port (IEEE 1394) to have to download video, computer probably does not come with a FireWire port, so you have a buy and install, since most computers (except possibly do not come brand new) with a FireWire port, you have the camcorder does not come with a FireWire cable, so you need to buy a cord. The camcorder has a USB cable come and that will be used for downloading stills from your camcorder. Make sure your camera is in playback mode. The fine print in the manual refers to (IEEE 1394) Firewire port.
