Who knows how successful the pan repair a crack in a polyethylene drain for an AC unit?
The unit is leaking and we have the problem, but now we can not find anything that connects with polyethylene. We try to avoid calling for a "professional" and just wanted to know if someone had a good advice! Thank you very much!
Ace Hardware, and probably every building supply and hardware store sells an epoxy cement for Plastic for $ 5. The one I am referring to is in a container with two pistons (so the sums are correct) for chemicals. Mix together, to lubricate, in, above and below the drain pan. Once fixed the leak hardens.
