As I photograph the Northern Lights on the normal film SLR with a normal old style?
"Normal" film (I presume, ISO 100) is not the best work for the inclusion of auroras because of "reciprocity failure", what happens when you expose the film for anything more than about 30 seconds. I have had very good results comets photographed with Fuji Velvia and Provia stocks on the ASA (ISO) 200 to 400 open with a wide-open aperture (2.8) and the closure for not more than 20 seconds. Even stars have been captured, almost without streaking. Good luck shooting!
