Is it worth the 55-200mm Lens for Nikon D40?
I am thinking about buying a Nikon D40 DSLR camera, and from the seller when I buy they offer two prize packs. The body of the 18-55mm lens for 499 and the body with the 18-55mm lens and the 55-200mm lens for 699th Would you say It is worth the extra lens, or just stick with the original kit?
Well, the 18-55 is clearly limited in its scope, but the 55-200 also Part of the wide end for landscapes. Since you are going to eventually want both areas that would be my advice to see if the D40 and the 18-200mm VR Lens, which is more expensive, but can cover the entire area and is a favorite lens.
