Which lens would be a compliment to the 18-55 mm kit lens is best?
I plan to buy a middle or upper entry level DSLR, either a gun or Nikon. I'm not sure what kind of photography I'm going to do. So, what lens would be versatile enough to compliment the kit lens in different kind of photography? Or should I try to choose the camera for some time and then buy a different lens? And what the 18-55mm lens is good?
The 18-55 kit is a good enough Lens to get on with, quite versatile, and if you stopped at a stop of RAW max aperture, can produce results beyond their low cost. This covers you for landscapes and portraits. I would recommend this for now and take a camera class that will educate and inspire and help you decide where to go to your photographic Next trip.
