What is the best digital camera mainly for taking pictures of our children?

According to the 2006 Consumer Reports buying the best digital compact camera is the Canon PowerShot A510. It is there listed for $ 180 and is listed at a very reasonable. It's got 3 megapixel and four times optical zoom. I have the Kodak Z740 and it's awesome! I paid around 300 when it first came out … it's great …. I love it. Easy to use and probably cheaper now. It is 5 Megapix ls and 10xOpitcal zoom. He also shoots a pretty decent video. If this does not seem to go well www.cnet.com and find some very good reviews! HP Optical zoom is what for …. Look digital zoom does not really matter.
