How do you get sticky off of a metal key chains, without ruining the surface?
I bought a souvenir key ring last year on a trip to Europe, and now's Got sticky all over the back of from the price tag. How do I remove the sticky, without damage the surface?
You can start with an ammonia-based cleaners such as glass cleaner. If not, take it, use an oil-based remover, such as Goof Off or Goo Gone. You can also try nail polish remover (acetone based). But, be careful to plastics (if it has a plastic inlay or something). Acetone can melt it.
