What is the best way to save a lithium-ion laptop battery?
I have an Acer Aspire laptop with a lithium-ion battery (model number TM00741) should it fully charged or fully discharged. I have even heard to store it at about 40% of capacity. If you know that you do not have the battery now, it is true that storage is not frozen at about 40% of capacity in a cool () dry air their lives. (The trick of course, is knowing when you need it, as you start with a cold, mostly discharged battery is not what you want for mobile use!) Before use it, let it warm up for a few hours, then download it.
