What is a good Digital SLR camera to start photography?
I have recently just taken an interest in photography and want it as a hobby. I wonder what a good entry into the digital SLR camera? I know a friend who is into his photography, but his camera like 1200 $, and that without any additional his lenses and accessories …
For Christmas 2007 my husband gave me the Nikon D40, and I love it. I think he was even a "kit" that The camera, lens, and an additional basic lens (and even get a camera included) case. I think he spent around $ 500 to $ 600 for everything, including the Insurance of Ritz Camera. When you shop for the D40 on eBay, you can probably find a new or very good condition for perhaps $ 200 to $ 300. The other I would suggest the Canon Digital Rebel XTi. It is a great camera for beginners and is comparable with the D40. I shot some Photos XTi with a friend, and the only difference I noticed between it and my camera is that the "Auto" setting on the shutter button seems to reset only a fraction of a second faster for the next shot. Just a quick search on eBay returned the following: Nikon D40: new from $ 390 and used from EUR 199 Canon Digital Rebel XTi: new from $ 399 and used from EUR 349 Hope this helps – and have fun with the new camera when you do!
