How to use a Canonet 28?
I just received a Canonet 28 (a fixed lens rangefinder 1970) in excellent condition and I want him to . Use It currently has a PX625 battery in it, but I doubt that it still juice left. Can I go to the pharmacy and pick up one of the film RožŠand a 1.4 V battery for hearing aids to get it to work? If so, how would I know that it works? It is not just on and off (Sorry, I am a teenage photographer who has literally grown up on digital. This will be my first film camera that I use).
Here is manual: http://www.cameramanuals.org/canon_pdf/canonet_28.pdf You can use batteries PX-625A, but the tension of these alkaline batteries are a little higher, so you might want the exposure of your shots from an f-stop or speed to increase recruitment. Best bet is to roll a test run around your house to see how the pictures come out.
