Sony Cybershot DSC-P200 7.2 Mega Pixel camera question ….?
I have long years my camera now for almost 2 and I love it. recently entered something wrong, but been with the lens. If I turn off the camera, with the lens retracted, and extends 3-4 times and then turns off (the lens is retracted when it is turned off). The battery is fully charged. I even tried out under the battery and hold the power button for 30 seconds to reset the camera (as I was commissioned by Sony). I I never let drop the camera. It is always in a case when not in use. Does anyone have any ideas of what can be wrong? I will finally be take in for service. Has anyone had this problem with this particular camera?
The DSC-P200, was published in 2005 and is a discontinued model. Unfortunately, repairs on a camera lens are quite expensive, and buying a brand new one is often the cheaper alternative … so make sure to get a repair estimate first. A new camera will of course have newer technology and, most likely, better image quality and features.
