what should I get lens for my Canon XSi?
It is a Canon Rebel XSI. I have the 55-70mm and a 300mm lens. They recommend going with a lens Macro? It cannot be toooo expensive. I wish a could afford a $ 1500 telephoto.
Canon does not make a 55-70mm lens. I'm going to guess that, what you have is the 18-55mm and 75-300mm or 70-300mm. Now there are a few options depending on what you want. You can use the 18-55 with the 17-85. It could be both lenses get rid of and get the 18-200 IS. You could be the 60mm f/2.8 or 100mm f/2.8 macro lens, both incredibly sharp, and only good lenses (I like the 100mm more). One could also a 50mm f/1.8 lens, which is very cheap and good for portraits and low light. You could be the 85mm f/1.8 the other major portrait / Low light / some indoor sports lens. The 50mm f/1.4 is good if you know you that focal length. One could also ultra-wide angle for landscapes such as the Canon 10-22, 12-24 or Tokina 11-16, or Sigma 10-20 or 12-24. You have to decide what you use it for most.
