How do you change the shutter speed on a Canon Ixus 850 IS?
I have a Canon Ixus 850 IS and I cannot find how to change the shutter speed. Can someone please help me
You can find much more information on your camera, please visit: http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/canonsd850is/ In response to your Question you can not manually adjust shutter speed, you do not have a manual or shutter priority mode. The alternative is to manually change the ISO value. The 850 has 80/100/200/400/800 and use the higher number, which you, the faster the shutter speed is selected the camera. This is because the higher the ISO, the more sensitive to light, the sesor and can therefore take the picture faster. Note, however, more than 400 ISO the images experience "noise" – or reduced quality is due to the sensor offset for higher sensitivity. Finally, the 850IS does not include an action or sports mode as the respondant can see what the camera to the highest exposure would be forced, although it is a kids and pets mode, which could be worth a try, are available.
