What kind of digital camera should I buy?
I am a high school student and thought about buying a digital camera. I do not want something very expensive … under $ 300, just so I can take pictures of my friends and me. I have the Casio Exilim, Sony Cyber Shot, thinking, or perhaps a Canon, and I want something fairly small, so I can carry it around, 7 Megapixel and up … any suggestions? I prefer a silver camera, but black is okay too.
first things u look shud have a camera in his megapixels. as u said, 7 is enough. then look for the zoom. the more the optical zoom, the better the camera. dont be deceived by the digital zoom. they r nothing. its optical zoom da dat things. a zoom of 3.6 to 6 enuf, although with 300, u can get up to 12x zoom. In addition, everything else is just fantasy. even in da fancy stuff, looking face regonition and Shake Reduction. Then there's the question of memory card. Ensure that the camera takes a normal SD card and no fancy stuff like a Memory Stick Duo or xD Picture Card. This can be better, but they are far more expensive, and honestly, u have no use for them if only for a point-and-shoot casual Photographers use. $ 300 is enuf for ya to buy a really good camera. Color is not important. Most cameras come in black or silver.
