How do I save a better quality video from my digital video camcorder?
Pls. Help …. The recorded digital video, which I with my TV Visibility is very good, but if I save these movies on my computer with the Sony Pixela and Windows Movie Maker, the video file is saved, I always grainy. Why is this and what to optimize, camcorder or the software?
Ok follow Stephen M's advice, but dont follow matt m, because it leads to nothing. Basically, as he said, use an editor instead of two, which in this case, WMM, the better. Also, if you export and you reach the part file settings, select another Settings, then click High Quality Video (NTSC), since your using a DV camcorder, I guess. Otherwise, click on high video quality. These options are good because they allow for variable bit rates that will help to reduce the file size to what you can base included. Hope this helps!
