Battery Grip
Can I use the Pentax battery grip with a Samsung GX-1L?
So it was given as a gift and was told its the same brand Samsung GX-1L is merely a re-brand the Pentax ist DL. Does anybody know if the battery grip for the Pentax are working with the Samsung. Thanks for any positive information.
I do not think that Pentax always result in a official grip for the * ist DL DSLR. It has one of the * ist D, but the base port was later removed, so the Pentax BG-1 useless with the newer and cheaper Models such as the DL, DS and DS2 and Samsung their colleagues. If you are talking about a third-party control, they should be interchangeable (* ist DL with GX-1L). The shutter control as the Dicain SG-1 only one connection on the cable release port, while Battery Grips OwnUser as the adaptation of the DC-applications in the cable release port. The GX-1L is almost * is identical to both of these common ports. The Dicain SG-1 was confirmed that the work GX-1L and OwnUser handle them should work. Since these DSLR models have never been designed or intended for handles, ugliness seems to be an unfortunate attribute of such products for the aftermarket.
